Give Ramps and stairs a basic function.
In zero-g on a ship it is annoying going up and down surfaces because your camera flings around so give stairs (and ramps) a use and have them act as a surface you can go up and down with magboots yet stay oriented towards the long bottom of the block like you were walking on a flat surface. I believe that this could help with ship building in that you don't have to have a gravity generator to prevent your camera from flying about.
