Server join via IP? will ever be possible?

hello, i see that only EOS servers are reachable from PS5 now; as i used to play on a nice server on PC, will it be possible to join servers via IP directly on PS5? for now i can't rejoin it on console.
This would be a good improvement for true cross-platform gaming.
