Extra targeting options for AI Offensive and block suggestion
I have been experimenting with AI guided Missiles recently and have noticed there isint any way to distinguish between things like stations and ships. There are ways around this but they have flaws.
As an example if I had a missile target propulsion then It shouldn't target a station but that would restrict it to only targeting propulsion on ships. And could lead to it targeting debris that may have a detached thruster on it.
I would like to see specific options for targeting stations, small grids, and large grids so system target priority isint comprised.
Somewhat related but I also have a suggestion for a new block/feature.
A laser painter.
It would be a good way to manually aim multiple turrets and get them to target a single point. It could also be used to tell AI blocks where to go.
So if I wanted a missile to hit a very specific section of a ship I could use the laser painter like a turret and the Missile would try to intercept wherever the laser ends. This also could apply to turrets and they attempt to hit wherever it ends.
It could also have a function to create a GPS at the end of the laser.
if I wanted to send a drone to a specific location on a planet from space, I could paint the general location, create a GPS, and plug that into a task. This could be used so the ship in question dosent crash into the planet but instead simply travels to the GPS and slows appropriately.
