Lower Laser Antenna energy consumption

The Laser Antenna's energy consumption is way too high, could we lower it? I mean i get it u trade pcu for energy consumption by building relay satellites but since pcu limit on official servers is so low its not worth connecting planets to each other as it is. Probably its intended to keep people from building excessive laser networks but i think its too much.
