Game Crashes - Says graphic driver has overheated

SE has been unplayable for a couple of weeks - crashes after < 15 mins gameplay (single player offline - no mods) . Message says graphics driver has overheated (it has not - temps are well within normal range).
Uninstalled the game and reinstalled - still crashes
I have the same bug Access denied
