Drill and Piston head disappearing after log-off and log-in

I'm playing on the Keen US#2 (PVP) Server.
I have a drill attached to a Piston and Hinge, attached to my main base.
When I logged off and logged back in, the drill and piston head were gone.
I suspected the drill was deleted by the trash cleanup settings.
So I rebuilt the drill. This time I left the drill powered on. I logged off and logged back in a couple minutes later. Once again, the drill and piston head are gone.
I have the same bug Access denied
I tested again. This time I left the drill off. But it was not moving. It's possible that in the first two events, the pistons and/or drills were on and moving. Could this have caused it?
