Major klang rubberbanding?de sync?ship flying off with no way of fixing

Won't Fix

This issue will most likely be swept under the rug as "it was klang" but this is a serious problem for a game that has been around for so long. I have found no resources about this topic anywhere this is my last hope.

Hello, engineer!

Thank you for writing to us, and we sincerely apologize for the issue you have been experiencing.

It appears that the server you are playing on has active MODs, which might be causing this issue. Please note, that we do not and cannot provide support for MODs as there are plenty of them out there, and it is a MOD creator's responsibility to keep their MODs updated and compatible according to the game's latest version. To check if the issue is related to MODs, kindly make a blueprint of the affected ship, paste it in the vanilla (with no active MODs) world, and see if the issue persists over there as well.

If the issue still occurs, kindly send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, and also, either the vanilla world save file (where we can reproduce the issue) or the blueprint of the ship, along with the log file from the time this issue occurred.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file, and attach it here.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards,

this is a networking issue, as you can see by the GPS distance you are flying away from the ship not the other way around, reconnecting usually fixes this but it also might be a server side issue
