Serious gameplay issue created by new DLC Hydrogen thrusters

The new dlc hydrogen thrusters are designed without a large gap at each corner, where as the existing vanilla thrusters do have a large gap. This allows players with dlc to seal their ships against attacks and damage far more easily ( players without dlc need to have a whole extra layer of armour behind their thrusters to seal the ship, making it heavier and more costly to build in online play ).
You need to do something about this please, and quickly- we have actually been complaining about the design of the vanilla thrusters since they were introduced but as per usual our complaints fall on deaf ears at KSH...
