Dispenser projectiles items into outer space

The velocity of dispensed items from the dispenser is way too high. The items are catapulted into space with no chance of picking them up.
They also ignore walls on their way to freedom and seem to come to a stop about 2-3km away from the machine (in outer space).
I have the same bug
I had one Clang Cola lodged inside a wall of my ship causing random "Clang", very irritating. I just dont see the point of this behavior being a "feature".
