Block values reset randomly/not getting saved

Occasionally when setting a block's variable values, like a rotor's torque or min/max angle limits, it will not save and either reset to the default value or what ever value was set before.
Note that this is not limited to rotors.
Unfortunately I couldn't figure out a way to reliably reproduce this behavior, it seems to happen randomly.
