Control panel/Inventory not being counted

I have recently added some large cargo containers to my base however they are not being accounted for in the inventory. They are a part of the connector inventory but not the main inventory system. I have fully rebuilt the conveyor system a couple times but nothing has worked.

Yes, the same thing happened to me. From what I understand, the game is very sensitive to which side a component is connected to (at the beginning of the placement).

Even if a conveyor tube fits perfectly with the previous one, it won’t work if you place that item aligning it to a different part of that grid. I figured this out after several attempts: you have to connect each component to the correct side of the previous one.

This is normal behavior for a failed conveyor link. The control panel is showing which blocks are connected to each other.

If this is not enough to pinpoint the break, try this.

The conveyor sections light up because they connect to something. They are not a sign that both ends are connected. Grind down the sections at the containers and the connector and see which, if any, lights go out.

Apologies for the late reply. But I have ground down everything multiple times before I posted thinking that I must have done something wrong like that but still no luck. Anything else you may think of?

There is something funky about the side ports of the large cargo containers. I fly up to and find that 'F' doesn't let my access the contents, while I can do that at the top port. Try running the conveyor to the port on the top of the container.
