v2.4.0.86 - Wriggly bar on flight HUD causes Sensory Overload within 10 minutes

Just tried to play the game with the updated flight HUD but this wriggly bar is too much for my eyes, causing Sensory Overload. I was forced to turn the game off after only 10 minutes of playing. I was in space, so I only saw the speed bar wriggling. As long as movements are gentle and expected, my Sensory Overload is fine. But this update made that bar wriggle like a moron and it'll very quickly make me want to go sit in a sensory deprived room for an hour.
Please either give me a toggle to switch back to the bar view that slowly filled up the faster you go, or something. Anything, just please give me some way to get rid of this out of control wriggly bar thing altogether. It MUST go, COMPLETELY.
