Need More Information

Space Engineers 2 crashes reliably after roughly 20–50 minutes of play.

System

  • Game version: 2.3.0.2798
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
  • GPU driver: Adrenalin 26.6.4 (32.0.31021.5001)
  • OS: Windows 11 (build 26200)
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.20 GHz)
  • 64 GB Ram

Fault appears after ~20–50 min of normal gameplay (not tied to a specific action I could pin down).

Troubleshooting already done:

  • No TDR / driver reset. Windows System event log shows no Event 4101 / 141 / 117 (Display / amdwddmg) at any crash time. Windows never reset the GPU. The DEVICE_REMOVED is reported directly to the game by the driver.
  • Not a memory issue. 64 GB RAM; committed memory showed no spike during the crashing sessions.
  • Hardware stress test passed. FurMark 2 (v2.10.2), 2560×1440, 30 minutes continuous load: fully stable, no artifacts, hotspot 88 °C, VRAM 80 °C.
  • Driver is already the latest WHQL (26.6.4)

  • Attached

    • 5 minidumps covering all 5 crashes

    Hello Harri Gessner,

Could you please provide your Game logs again? It seems they are not attached to the thread. Could you also please attach a screenshot of your Game Settings for Space Engineers 2 in the AMD Adrenaline?

    Kind Regards,

Sorry, missed adding the logs. Here are the logs and the screenshots for the AMD Adrenalin settings.

The card runs on default performance settings with no tuning.

    Thank you.
