Hydrogen Thruster Effects And Sounds Missing

Since VS2.2, the effects of hydrogen thrusters are invisible. I first noticed an issue when I fixed the hydrogen test station when first starting a new survival save, where the hydrogen thruster only had little circles appear now and then, like only 1/30 effect particles were rendering. Now that I've repaired the hydrogen ship, it flies normally but all the hydrogen thrusters are visually off - no effects whatsoever.
Edit: their thrust sounds appear to be gone too, or extremely muted.

I have effects now, but still no sound. Might just be the "intentional" fact that they are currently tied to velocity rather than acceleration, although I thought it at least had some tie to acceleration...

Okay this issue appears to affect multiple different effects in the game, and comes and goes. For example, right now I have hydrogen thruster effects, but all welder effects (hand welder and grid welder) are missing.
Edit: restarting my game fixes the effects, if that helps track down the issue at all.

I am experiencing the same. It sometimes works after a restart then after playing a while it goes away again.

Even after restarting the thrust effects haven't come back.

I FIGURED IT OUT! It happens when entering the map.
Whenever they removed the speed particle from delfos in the map all they did was disable particles but it doesn't reenable when exiting so loss of particles.
EDIT: weird thing is it only comes back when restarting the game but not reloading the world.
