Just starting, a few bugs.
OK I just started today, and after about 6 hours love the game so far but have noticed a few bugs.
1.The large atmo engine on the starting ship produces engine sounds even when powered off. The sound cannot be turned off. But the small atmo engines are quite when off.
2.so far all the buildings and grids cannot be added to, We have to make new grids. there is no takeover the grid option that I have seen. If there is it would be nice to have a notification of that.
3. when building grids near an existing grid, even though there is a gap between them, it says something is too close. It looks like we need almost a full size block distance between them to build.
4.Welding/Grinding - items/parts are very hard to weld and mostly have only certain areas to click on the weld/grind/etc.
5.I love the survival so far, and the communications with the guy left behind. it would be nice to have a written version of the conversations as well, like on a terminal. My headset batteries wend dead and I think I missed a conversation. I just got the hydro ship into space and have completed the first sample contract. it now says to colonize but I haven't heard back from my stranded buddy. We need a to do list to get him maybe?
6. after reaching the mining base we get the hydro ship repaired and must go to the ice location for ice fuel, while drilling a glitch happened and I fell through the world, I would have ended up having to re-spawn but I had a full jet-pack and flew back up to where I was mining and had to drill on the reverse side then i was able to pop back into the real world and continue. this happened to me in SE1 one time as well on mars, It might be a nice option to have a emergency button in a menu somewhere that says hey i video glitched or something and it just teleport you character to the nearest surface but only if you in the inner world. otherwise the teleport doesnt work.
7. on the 1st contract making your base on the asteroid. I repaired the survival kit, then repaired the detector, however even though the detector works and is repaired, the contract doesn't log that, you have to destroy it 50% and then rebuild it for it to clear the contract trial.
8.when in cockpit, there is no menu we can assign stuff to, we need to be able to turn on/off gyros, thrusters, etc. right now I have to open inventory then switch to console then select all the engines and then say off. its too slow.
9. I added 2 batteries and 10 vertical atmo thrusters to the hydro ship to help conserve hydrogen while lifting off to space, however the space-bar does control the hydro engines but not the atmo, although this works in the other ships, so I am assuming it is because we have 2 types of thrusters. I am able to put them in override though. But again it takes time to toggle them.
thats all i can remember right now, will continue to post when I see more issues
