GPS coordinate colors

I'm hoping this is in the backlog of features to add from SE 1 to SE 2, but I would like the ability to colorize GPS markers. Often in SE 1 I would use colors to help organize my map markers. For example, I would color Gold locations yellow, Magnesium locations light blue, etc.
When looking for a specific ore, I could turn on the markers and make them visible from long range. This allowed me to quickly pick out by color the markers and head towards them. This was helpful when several GPS markers were clustered in the same location.
