Simplify fluid storage for SE2
I saw teasers for SE2 about water dynamics and I saw the water storage block. Can't fluid storage be simplified or thought over for SE2? I feel like continuing on SE1's footsteps will limit creativity and elongate developing times.
The solution at first is simple: Unified fluid storage for any gases or liquids that might be introduced in the future. Modders will likely be able to make new materials easier too.
The only issue I see is that there needs to be some kind of logic made when fluid is moved inside the grid, so no single type of fluid monopolyses on the grid cuz every tank gets a littlebit (i guess thats why o2 and h2 got separated in se1 in the first place) (I'm thinking of the simple physics experiment where two ballons are tied together and one dominates, there could be a logic similar to that if the player enables it on any tank).
If all fluids have separate storages; each time a gas or fluid is introduced the art and programmer team needs to make different sized same function blocks... introducing a new material to the game shouldn't be about deciding if the dev team wants to make 10s of the same block.
Please introduce unified fluid storage and let the gamers make exclusive fluid storages on each grid if they want (the logic is there and with cosmetic .25 blocks its even more customisable)
