Ship rubberbanding back to connector

Need More Information

Version 1.188.1

Multiplayer game

After docking to my space station connector, with a small grid ship, I did turn off the power by pressing Y. The whole thing turned down (station & ship). I went to the station control & turned my station back up. On my next ship use, the connector seems to attrack the ship endlessely, to the point where I cannot escape it. This seem to be permanent, even after grinding both connctors, the problem still persist.

Save game attached. It's the blue ship, attached to the station.

Hello,

Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? To report a bug into

our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it. Attached file includes multiple saves, could you provide us a folder with the right mentioned save?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Hi!

I loaded the save provided, and the bug seems to not be happening anymore. So I guess, it is not a problem with persistent data.

So it happen only at runtime. What would be great is having a debug key to dump the status of all connectors for instance.

Just for the records, here's some repro step, which are not 100%

- Dock your ship

- Press Y to turn off the ship. Strangely, the whole station shutdown

- Get out of your ship, and sit in station main chair. Press Y. Usually, the first time you press Y, it doesn't power up and that should be investigated also. May be related to the problem.

- You then press Y a second time, get out of chair & go back to your ship.

- This is typically the sequence I did which lead me to this problem. Happened to me many times.

I know non-100% repro are hard to tackle and tend to be put in lower priority. What should I do next time it happen? If I have the server running, do you want to connect to it?

Keep up the good work - love your game!
