Platinum is too rare.

Plain and simple, my friends and I have spent the better part of 3 days searching over 60 asteroids and have yet to find any platinum. Being a required resource to build thrusters, this brings the game to a grinding halt. All of my friends have quit playing due to this and I'm going to quit soon if something isn't done. You can't make THRUSTERS, arguably THE KEY COMPONENT in any space ship, that rare. Searching for hours isn't fun. The game's challenges should be engineering challenges, not RNG time sinks. Platinum still has to be hauled, refined, constructed, and then protected. You're keeping people from playing and enjoying the game for...what? What is the reason? Please consider. I've attached a screenshot of our scouting.

There is already so less challenge in this game right now and then there are people who wants it to be even less :D dont get it. Thats the only incentive for exploring right now, searching for ores... If there are all ores everywhere you dont even have to do that anymore. If you wanna have an easy source of infinitive platinum play creative please. Platinum is not even a basic ore you necesseraly need, its more like the non plus ultra for crafting the best tools possinle in the game and ion thrusters.
