Additional information when using "Programmable Block - Run" in Hotbar

As a scripter (and user of many scripts) I often find myself with a Hotbar full of "Programmable Block - Run". However this gives me no insight into the command actually being run. Even if I name the PB to the name of the script (for clarity/organization), I still have scripts for which I use multiple commands on. This can quickly get confusing and out-of-hand on one grid, let alone hopping into another grid with a completely unique setup.

Suggestion:

On hover of Hotbar item: Show a snippet (however many characters you find acceptable I will happily accept) of the argument being passed to the script in that Hotbar shortcut.

Not sure if this applies to any other Hotbar shortcuts, but this one sticks out to me and forces me to remove / replace my hotbar configurations regularly.

Cheers,

DragonsKin

I also wanted to submit this. I end up making a bunch of button panels to run scripts instead of using my hotbar, because I can never remember which one is which.

Great idea, and quite welcome.

Personally I'd just like to be able to rename all hotbar actions (similar to how button panel actions can be renamed).

It is indeed really annoying for us scritpers because as you say there is no way to know what the button will do until you push it and that can have deadly consequences if you push the wrong thing (ie detonate warheads).

I made a similar suggestion a few weeks ago:

change icons & colors of G-buttons (that means also provide a plenty of icons to be used)

A sign of things to come? With the recent in game help menus and interface updates, I was hopeful that this was one of them :(.

All of this, please. Customisation for ALL the icons!
