Blocks and Terrain Not loading after client freeze

I paused my game for approximately 30 minutes while I took care of some chores, and when I came back to my game the client was frozen. I force closed the game and restarted and when the game loaded, nothing else loaded. Terrain was non existent, blocks did not render, and even though the animations and game registered that I was not falling, tools like my shovel and pickaxe would not dig even though I was looking at my feet.
The only thing visible is sky no matter which direction I look. I see stars under my feet and the moon above me. Also, the map will not open. See attached image.
